The Expendables 2
2012 American ensemble action film directed by Simon West, written by Richard Wenk and Sylvester Stallone and based on a story by Ken Kaufman, David Agosto and Wenk. Brian Tyler returned to score the film. It is a sequel to the 2010 action film The Expendables, and stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Liam Hemsworth, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The story follows the mercenary group known as "the Expendables" as they undertake a seemingly-simple mission which evolves into a quest for revenge against rival mercenary Jean Vilain, who murdered one of their own and threatens the world with a deadly weapon.
Plot:
The Expendables leader Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), blade specialist Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), hand-to-hand combat specialist Yin Yang (Jet Li), heavy weapons specialist Hale Caesar (Terry Crews), demolitions expert Toll Road ( Randy Couture), the unstable Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), and sniper Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth) (team's newest recruit, and Ross Protg) are deployed to Nepal to rescue Dr. Zhou, a hostage. They also save the captured mercenary Trench (Arnold Schwarzenegger), Ross' rival. Yang leaves the group to escort Zhou returned to China.
After returning to New Orleans, Billy tells Ross that he intends to retire at the end of the month and living with his girlfriend Sophia. Last Cited Ross forced to accept a mission from the CIA operative Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) to retrieve an item from a downed aircraft in Albania. Church sends technical expert Maggie Chan (Yu Nan) on the team. In Albania The Expendables retrieve the item but is then attacked by international criminal and arms dealer Jean Vilain (Jean-Claude Van Damme), his right hand Hector (Scott Adkins) and his group of mercenaries (the singer), who caught Billy. Vilain require the item in exchange for Billy's life. Team gives up the item, but Vilain Billy stabs through the heart and flees with Sangs by helicopter. Ross restores a note to Sophia from Billy's body, the team bury their fallen comrade, swearing revenge on Vilain.
Maggie tells them that the item is a computer, with the location of five tons of refined plutonium left in a mine of the Soviet Union after the Cold War. Villain intends to retrieve plutonium and sell it. The Expendables are able to weak to follow the computer signal and Villain, leading them to Bulgaria, where they spend the night in an abandoned Russian military base to follow. The next morning the team ambushed by Sangs and a tank. The Expendables run out of ammunition, they are saved by Booker (Chuck Norris) (Ross' old friend) that quickly removes both Sangs and tank. Before he departs, Booker Group announces a nearby village, whose inhabitants dislike Villain Time Hector and Villain dig up plutonium and start collecting it.
In the village, the Expendables are several armed female villagers guarding their children Villain's troops. The local residents are taken and put to work as slaves in the mines, never to return, and women appeal for Expendables' help. The song comes several villagers, but is attacked and killed Expendables. After locating Villain and mine, the team assaults the area with their planes before deliberately crashing into mine. Team save the enslaved miners from execution, but Villain and Hector flee with plutonium. Villain remotely detonate explosives in the mine, it collapses, trapping the miners and The Expendables.
Church and Trench come, freeing the miners and the team, and join the Expendables on Villain pursue. Group captures Villain and his men at an airport as he prepares to leave by plane. Joined again by Booker, The Expendables, Trench and church involvement Sangs in battle. Christmas beheads Hector, while Ross and Villain fight hand-to-hand. Ross defeats Villain, stabbing him and avenge Billy.In the aftermath, Ross is getting an old biplane through Church Church, Maggie, Booker Trench and then let the team. In France discovers Sophia (Nikolette Noel) a box on her door with a large sum of money and Billy's letter. As Expendables walk in the plane, they propose a final toast to Billy.
